Pisa
Pisa, the capital of the Province of Pisa in Tuscany and cross by the Arno river. The city was founded by Etruscan civilization, and they trade with other civilizations because Pisa was used as a maritim city. But the provenance of Pisa is uncertain.
During the Roman period, Pisa, was used by Roman for a naval base against Ligurians - people in the north-west in the Italy. During all the times, the Pisa's power is due to the position of the city near the River and the sea and Pisa fall during the Florentine invasion in 1406.

What you can do at Pisa ? You can visit the famous spot, Piazza del Duomo, where you find Cattedrale di Pisa and the famous tilted tower of Pisa, Torre di Pisa. At this place you can visit the Battistero di San Giovanni, in front of the cattedrale di Pisa. It's possible to visit and to high up to the Torre di Pisa, and to see the Pisa city from there.
How you can go there ?
If you want going to Pisa, you can take the train from Firenze, it's just one hour with the train. The journey can be very short there, just one day is enough, visiting the Piazza del Duomo, and to see few museums.
