Firenze
Florence, or Firenze in Italian is a city in Tuscany county. Florence was founded by Romans in 59 BC for the veterans soldiers and was called Fluentia and the city developed differents structure in roman style, like aqueduct, theater, amphitheatres and few of these monuments from the Roman period can be visited nowday.

During the Renaissance era, from 14th to 16th centuries, in many domains, economically, culturally and financially, Florence was a hub in Europe. The Medici Family lived at Florence and they was powerful and rich from the bank their founded and their influence dominate Florence. Lorenzo de' Medici governed the city in 15th century. Also, fact interesting, Marie de' Medici, born in Florence gave birth to the future King of France, Louis XIII because she was married to Henry IV of France and the bloodline of the Medici Family are very important and powerful for the story of Florence.
During the Renaissance era, Florence was the centre of the culture, art, politic and economic in Italy and some artist people learn the technical of arts, like Leonard Da Vinci or Michelangelo, with the famous masterpiece sculpture, David. Dante Alighieri, was a poet and writer Italian, he wrote a famous poem, Divine Comedy and this poem evolve and standardized the Italian language.
