During my trip in Ireland, I went in Galway, it’s in West of Ireland. The county of Galway is a part of the province Connacht. This county is very famous, because you have the Lake of Connemara. Recognized with the French music “Les lacs du Connemara” performed by Michel Sardou :)
Galway city
The main city of county of Galway is Galway city, named like the county of Galway. This city located on northeast of Galway Bay, also, the River Corrib cross Galway City and arrive in Galway Bay.
Galway bay is very popular in Irish culture, you can hear Irish songs talking about Galway Bay, singed in english or in Celtic.
When I was been there, I was very impressed of this city, a lot of students. Unfortunately, I didn’t discover all the secrets of the city, because I was went only for 2 hours there, and I stayed in the main place of Galway City and I drank an Irish Coffee, very delicious, just to warm my hands :)
Cliff of Moher
During my journey of one day in the county of Galway I visited Cliffs of Moher, it was so beautiful. This place is located below the Galeway city, and approximatively 1:30 hours in car. It was a trip with a bus, so, we left Dublin and go to cliffs. I walked along the cliffs, very windy, but I will never tire of this sight :)

I took a lot of pictures with my phone, so, the quality are not good :)
During your tour in that place, you can see the O’Brien’s tower culminating the cliffs. This pretty tower was erected by Sir Cornellius O’Brien in 1835 just for foreigners who wanted to see the cliffs and to have a lookout point over the sea and the cliffs.
Also, the wildlifes is also another aspect of the cliffs and for people who love of bird-watching will be happy to go there. Unfortunately, when I went there, I didn’t have binocular to see the wildlifes. You can see peregrine falcons or kittiwakes.
After your journey and before to leave that spot, you can go to the gifts shop or visiting the exhibition to know more about that place. You’ll learn more about the wildlifes :)
The burren
If you have time, you can visit the Burren, it’s not far away from Cliffs of Moher, but it’s a beautiful place to visit. It’s a landscape almost lunar, you will find limestone, cracked with the time:
In that place, the wildlifes is diversified, so, I recommand to go there and to discover that beautiful landscape :)
