Cathedrale of Sainte-Cecile

The Cathedrale of Sainte Cécile (built from 1282 to 1480), located aside the river Tarn in Albi, is dedicated to Sainte Cécile.
The largest organ, made by Christophe Moucherel between 1734 and 1736, is installed here.
The vault, 100 meters long and 20 meters wide, took four years to finish by two Italian painters from Bologna.
Every patterns has the colour, royal blue, relieved as the background. What makes it remarkable is that this is the biggest Cathedral drawn in Europe.
You can see the paint of the last jugement under the Great organ.
